If the songs that were in the movie were put on the soundtrack it would have been an awesome soundtrack, but a bunch of “new age” sound scapes is disappointing.
I totally agree. LOVED the music in this movie and was really looking forward to the soundtrack. I can’t even find the theme song that was played during the movie and Golden Globe Awards ceremony.
I totally agree; loved the songs in the background in the movie but why aren’t they on the movie soundtrack? Very disappointed. Loved the movie.
The theme song is called “How you Like Me Know?” by The Heavy. The MP3 can be dowloaded. Great song….and the song that was played during the Golden Globes when Christian Bale walked up to get his award.
(found it after quite a search). Surprising that they don’t even have the theme song on the Soundtrack.
Great songs from the movie. I have not bought the soundtrack yet. I’m sure it will be as great as the movie.
I agree also, been a big fan of The Wahlbergs and Mr Bale.. went to the movies with my girlfriend and we were singing along to the music the whole way thru the movie, the movie was awsome and MAYBE the owners of the movie will compile and release it soon.. big money to be made.. hint hint..

Oliver – the song that Dicky and his mum are singing in the car outside the crack house is ‘I Started A Joke’ by Bee Gees.

I completely agree with the early comments about how frustrating it is that the so-called O.S.T. that’s been released is a disappointing collection of soundscapes – there are some real gems amongst the tracks featured in the film (How You Like Me Now, Here I Go Again, The Warrior’s Code and Glory And Consequence are my favourites), so why could they not release THEM as a soundtrack?!
It’s a shame, as the film is truly great, so it would be nice to be able to have the music in one neat package to bring the memories of it back!

it’s like the song from green street hooligans, there was one that was superbly hard to download…most main stream movies have crap music sold by sold out artists who have contracts with movie industries so they prob. can’t even release the good indie artists on these soundtracks because they use them and don’t pay them money or large sums of money so the music doesn’t get realesed on soundtracks, just movies…
Movie industry is corrupted like many large industries….

So happy to see that playlist, we just saw the movie and immediately said we need to download the track… but I tried to get the songs individually that Josh listed and could not find many of them, gave up 1/2 way through the list. Sigh… So frustrating! maybe I’m just not itunes savvy enough to know how to do deeper searches.
